High quality video transmission in DVI format

The most common video interface standard designed for high-definition televisions and LCD flat screens are now used with digital projectors and computer displays fine. DVI was invented by the Digital Display Working Group in April 1999. Since then, it is often used for purposes of transmission media.

dvi is advantageous because the DVI-D (digital) mode is partially compatible with the latest HDMI and DVI-A (analog) mode is compatible with VGA. A connector has 24 pins andfour additional outlets. A DVI socket is designed to protect and to ensure that users do not fit the two pin-size disoriented. DVI-network allows the transmission of uncompressed digital video data to a range compatible moderated by digital displays.

DVI is not fully compatible with HDMI, why not carry any audio stream in the TMDS channel. DVI displays can not be, with digital display system with sound, DVI used as a support systemAudio Broadcast enabled by default. As DVI is partially compatible with HDMI TMDS signal into an audio stream via DVI to HDMI converter be induced. This function is also used in some motherboards modern electronics, computers and graphics cards.

Some other advantages of the DVI format is compatible with DDC and EDID channels that communicate to a computer with multiple monitors. New DVI-I format depends on the technological development over the years, both developed and digital mediaanalog data transfer. Integrated DVI-compliant format digital and analog displays for consumer electronics. Can be connected for that reason only DVI digital signal to an analog port.

While DVI is still not much, as has been successfully performed in front of new formats such as HDMI, is the transmission of high definition video with the DVI format.
